Gabrielli family sells Brisbane home

High-profile Townsville business identities Adrian and Janine Gabrielli have sold a multi-million-dollar riverfront Brisbane home.

The couple sold the home known as “The Ripples”, at 17 Griffith Street, New Farm, for more than $10 million after an unprompted approach from prestige property agent Hamish Bowman on behalf of a Brisbane-based tech entrepreneur.

The riverfront home, which one of a few in the suburb that has a pontoon, features views across the river to the Story Brisbane and the Brisbane skyline.

The sale was reportedly completed within 24 hours of the agent making the first approach to the Gabriellis.

Adrian Gabrielli is considered among Townsville’s top 50 most influential people and heads up the Gabrielli Group, which incorporates A Gabrielli Constructions, Gabcon and Northern Plant Hire.

Mr Gabrielli has served on the boards such as Master Builders Queensland, Construction Training Queensland and not-for-profit apprentice training provider TORGAS.

The couple, who have had significant property holdings in the Townsville region including the Great Northern Hotel in Flinders Street West, are also well known for their philanthropic efforts in North Queensland.
