Two Townsville women become Queensland Solicitors

Creevey Horrell Lawyers has celebrated staff members Hayley Becker and Hana Fellows after their admission as solicitors.

Their admissions were heard by the Supreme Court of Queensland. Each joined the firm while completing a Bachelor of Law degree at James Cook University.

The milestone marks their move from university studies into admitted legal practice with a firm they already know.

Townsville-based Special Counsel Lucas Hickey said it was a proud moment for Creevey Horrell. “Having started with Creevey Horrell while studying for their Bachelor of Law degrees at James Cook University, it’s wonderful to see Hayley and Hana reach this exciting milestone in their legal careers,” he said.

Becker had already worked with the Townsville firm while completing her degree. She said she was thrilled by the admission and excited about new challenges. “It has already been a tremendous experience to have been working with the firm in Townsville while completing my degree,” she said.

Fellows also said she was proud to be admitted as a solicitor. “Creevey Horrell Lawyers have provided me with so many opportunities already and I look forward to the challenges ahead and working with a great team,” she said.
