What’s happening?
The Living End will bring its ‘I Only Trust Rock n Roll’ Regional Tour to Townsville this August.
The Australian rock band is set to perform at The Warehouse in Townsville on Friday, August 14, as part of its 2026 regional tour across Australia.
The show follows the release of the band’s latest album, ‘I Only Trust Rock n Roll’, their first album in eight years.
Fans attending the Townsville stop can expect a setlist packed with new tracks and major hits, including ‘Prisoner of Society’, ‘White Noise’, ‘Roll On’ and ‘Second Solution’.
Lead singer Chris Cheney said the band still thrives on live performances.
“The hunger we had when The Living End first began still drives our energy on stage every time we play,” Cheney said.
“Our gig philosophy is pretty simple: blow the fricken doors off! See you at the show.”
The announcement also comes ahead of The Living End’s induction into the ARIA Hall of Fame on June 11.
Why it matters?
The Townsville concert brings one of Australia’s most recognised punk rock bands back to North Queensland, giving local fans access to a major touring act without travelling interstate.
The performance also highlights the continued push for large live music events in regional Queensland venues.
