San Cisco will bring their Miles Away Regional Tour to Townsville this November as the Fremantle indie-pop group returns to regional stages.
The band will perform at The Warehouse on Friday, 20 November as part of the first run of the regional tour.
The tour marks San Cisco’s first run of shows in more than two years. Jordi Davieson, Josh Biondillo and Scarlett Stevens will return to performing together, with Stevens back on the drums as a new mum.
Why It Matters
Townsville audiences will get a mix of familiar San Cisco favourites and fresh material during the November show.
The band said it was ready to return to regional towns along the East Coast.
“We are so ready to get out on the road and visit some of our fave regional towns on the East Coast! We’ve got a small selection of fresh tracks to throw in the mix including our soon to be released single ‘Miles Away’! We can’t wait to have a singalong and dance with you all! Let’s party! We’ve missed you all dearly.”
San Cisco will play fan favourites alongside new songs throughout the tour.
Local Impact
Townsville is among the Queensland stops included in Part 1 of the Miles Away Regional Tour.
San Cisco will arrive at The Warehouse after performances in Rockhampton and Mackay. The band will then continue north to The Jack in Cairns on 21 November.

The regional tour takes its name from San Cisco’s forthcoming single Miles Away. The track will be the band’s first new music since the release of Under The Light in 2024.
Jordi Davieson said the song explores being together while feeling someone emotionally retreat.
“’Miles Away’ is a song about being together, but alone, loving someone deeply while feeling them retreat somewhere you cannot follow. But don’t worry – it’s all wrapped up in a sugary pop song so it’s easy to swallow!”
The band will introduce fresh tracks during the regional shows while also returning to established favourites.

San Cisco blend indie rock, pop and alternative influences. Their catalogue includes tracks such as Awkward and Run.
Outside the regional tour, the band’s schedule includes Savannah in the Round Festival in Mareeba on 9 October. They will also perform at Community Live at The Corner Hotel in Melbourne on 29 October and Freo Beerfest in Fremantle on 14 November.
After the Queensland dates, Part 1 of the tour will continue with shows in Newcastle, Wollongong and Canberra.
