Regional church groups invited to free conference day

What’s happening?

A group from Antioch Reformed Baptist Church on the Gold Coast is heading to North Queensland for a week of gospel outreach across Townsville and Ingham. Their visit will finish with a full-day conference on Saturday 22 November at Sugar Reef Baptist Church in Ingham. The event begins at 9.30am at 38 Herbert St.

Antioch Reformed Baptist Church has partnered with Sugar Reef Baptist Church to host the Ingham Conference. This year’s theme is The Household of God, with teaching centred on the purpose, structure, and calling of the local church.

Why it matters

The organisers say the mission trip is set up to support and equip regional churches. They explained that the goal is to help churches understand the structure and purpose of the local church, with the hope of seeing believers encouraged and strengthened.

In their invitation, the church said, “We at Antioch Reformed Baptist Church would like to warmly invite you and your congregation to join us for a day of worship, fellowship, and teaching at our upcoming Ingham Conference on Saturday, November 22nd, beginning at 9:30 AM at Sugar Reef Baptist Church Ingham.”

“Our desire is to see believers from across Townsville, Ingham, and beyond encouraged and equipped to love Christ’s Church as He does, and to see local congregations strengthened for the glory of God.”

“Regardless of Christian denomination or tradition, we’d be honoured for you to join us as we gather around the Word of God and celebrate our shared hope in Christ.”

They also said, “Our prayer is that this conference would stir a renewed love for the Gospel and a deeper devotion to Christ’s bride, the Church.”

Local impact

The conference is expected to draw attendees from Townsville, Ingham, and surrounding areas. Tickets are free. Each visitor is asked to RSVP to antioch.rbc@gmail.com, either individually or on behalf of their families. Morning tea, lunch, and refreshments will be provided.
