Millions announced for QLD non-state school projects

What’s happening?

The Crisafulli Government has approved $12.24 million in grants for capital works at non‑state schools across Queensland. The funding will help schools build new facilities and improve existing infrastructure such as classrooms, bus set‑down areas, footpaths, and access roads.

Why it matters

Minister for Education John‑Paul Langbroek said the support shows the government’s commitment to quality education. “All Queensland school students deserve a world‑class education system and the Crisafulli Government is proud of this funding announcement,” he said. “Delivering world‑class educational facilities for Queensland kids right across the state in state and non‑state schools is a huge priority for us and we are committed to that.”

Families and staff in many regions will see safer grounds, better access, and improved learning spaces. These projects mean schools can enhance facilities without increasing pressure on parents.
