What’s happening?
Carinity Education Shalom celebrated a significant milestone last Friday, 15 November 2024, with its first-ever Year 12 graduating class.

Eight students were honoured during a heartfelt ceremony at Northreach Baptist Church in Kirwan. The event included cultural dances, a school guard of honour, and reflections on the school’s journey from closure to revitalisation under Carinity’s leadership.

“This is a celebration of resilience and growth, not just for these students but for the entire school community,” said Sharyn Ive, Head of School at Carinity Education Shalom.

Why it matters?

“Our students are our future leaders, and we’re proud to see them reach this milestone,” Ms Ive added, emphasising the importance of accessible and inclusive education.

This milestone underscores the critical role Carinity Education Shalom plays in providing high-quality, supportive education in Townsville.
