A 22-year-old Hermit Park man has been charged after police allegedly found a knife during scanning activities in Mundingburra.
Townsville Tactical Crime Squad officers were carrying out Jack’s Law scans at a licensed venue on Ross River Road around 3.40am on Sunday, 27 September.
Police allege the knife was found in the man’s pocket and seized before he attempted to run from officers, who then arrested him.
