What’s Happening?
Home construction has started at Lincoln Lifestyle Northern Beaches, bringing its first residents closer to moving into the Mount Low community. Townsville builder Glenn Sexton Constructions poured the first home slab within the Sanctum residential masterplan.
Purchasers Neil and Therese Forrest joined Lincoln Place Chief Executive Officer Paul Yeo to see their slab poured. The couple will relocate from Far North Queensland to live closer to their family in Townsville.

Why It Matters
Family was central to the Forrests’ decision, while their previous lifestyle community experience also shaped their choice. They currently visit Townsville every month or so and want more time with their seven grandchildren.
“We visit family every month or so, and we want to be able to spend more time with them,” Therese said. “We’ve lived in a lifestyle community before and value having like-minded neighbours, lots of amenities close to home, and living within a gated, secure estate. We love the location of the community within the Sanctum estate. I’ll be able to walk our Staffy along Sanctum Boulevard in the mornings and stroll the walking paths with Neil in the evenings away from busy roads.”
Neil and Therese chose the Hibiscus home design for its practical layout and the community’s location. Their home will include two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a double garage.
Local Impact
A multi-million-dollar amenities precinct will provide several recreational and social spaces for residents. Plans include resort-style outdoor and indoor pools, a gym, sports pavilion, bowling green and pickleball courts.
Walking paths, outdoor dining spaces and barbecue areas will also be included. Meanwhile, a separate clubhouse will feature a private cinema, library, dining area, kitchen, bar and lounge. These shared spaces will support gatherings with neighbours, friends and family. Residents will also have access to parklands throughout the wider Sanctum development.
Bushland Beach will be eight minutes away, while Deeragun Village and surrounding services will be nearby. Townsville’s city centre will also remain within easy reach. Prices for two-bedroom homes start from $605,000. Under the land lease model, residents pay no entry fees, exit fees or stamp duty.
There are also no body corporate fees, deferred management fees or council rates. Residents pay for utilities and one weekly site rental fee, which covers the upkeep of the amenities.

By the Numbers
- The $200 million Lincoln Lifestyle Northern Beaches development will include 360 homes for people aged over 50.
- Glenn Sexton Constructions will deliver 31 homes during the project’s first stage.
- A 6,200-square-metre lifestyle and amenities precinct will be delivered across future stages.

Mr Yeo said the community had attracted strong interest from local over-50s seeking relaxed coastal living. Buyers were also interested in quality amenities and opportunities to build meaningful connections.
“Pouring the slab on the first home at Lincoln Lifestyle Northern Beaches is an exciting milestone that brings us one step closer to bringing this new community to life,” Mr Yeo said. “In the coming months the team at Glenn Sexton Constructions will be delivering the first stage of 31 homes, with a 6,200sqm lifestyle and amenities precinct to be delivered in future stages. Meeting future homeowners like Neil and Therese and seeing what it means to them really reinforces what this community is all about, a secure, connected and welcoming place for over-50s to enjoy life to the fullest, close to family.”
Zoom Out
Lincoln Lifestyle Northern Beaches is planned as a community within the wider Sanctum residential development. It will combine private facilities with links to surrounding parklands, shops and services.
The land lease model also removes several costs commonly linked with buying and selling property. Instead, residents pay one weekly site rental fee alongside their utility usage.

What To Look For Next?
Glenn Sexton Constructions will continue delivering the first 31 homes over the coming months. Future stages will bring the larger lifestyle precinct and its planned recreational facilities.
The sales centre is open at 111 Sanctum Boulevard, Mount Low, Queensland 4818. Appointments and further information are available through Lincoln Lifestyle Northern Beaches.
