Unlock Your Artistic Potential: RADF Grants Now Open for Townsville Creatives

The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) grants are currently open to artists in Townsville until Sunday, October 29, 2023. The program, delivered in partnership between the Queensland Government and Townsville City Council, aims to support the arts and cultural scene in the region.

MULTI-ARTS EXPRESSION

The grants are not confined to traditional art forms like painting or sculpture but also cover projects like podcasts, music videos, musicals, and interactive art exhibitions; thus, Deputy Mayor Mark Molachino encouraged city artists to apply.

Cr Molachino stated that the funds, which have a maximum value of $10,000, are awarded twice a year. They have previously supported projects such as multimedia exhibitions, ukulele workshops, music festivals, and actor training sessions.

The RADF grants aim to bring creative and engaging ideas to life for the benefit of the entire community. For more information and to apply, you can visit the RADF page on the Townsville City Council website.
