Get Ready to Party

Dust off your flare jeans and platform shoes because Althea Projects is throwing a 50th Gala bash, sponsored by Whaites & Co. On Saturday, 7th September 2024, from 6:30 pm to 11:30 pm, Rydges Southbank Townsville will be the place to be.

Early bird tickets are available now for $200 until 30th April. Don your best party attire from the 70s, 80s, 90s, or 2000s and get ready for a night of nostalgia and fun.

Supporting a Noble Cause

Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting Althea Projects’ mission to aid people facing homelessness, provide emergency care for children in crisis, and offer training and support for foster and kinship carers.

With corporate sponsorship packages available, local businesses can also contribute to this vital cause.

Althea Projects in Action

Over the last 12 months, Althea Projects has made a significant impact in the Townsville community:

  • 8,000 meals provided for the homeless
  • Assisted 400 families
  • Aided 2,000 financially distressed individuals
  • Supported 906 children
  • Helped 800 people facing homelessness

Since its inception in response to Cyclone Althea in 1971, Althea Projects has been dedicated to supporting vulnerable individuals and families in Townsville and surrounding areas.
